Upgrade DS112+ to 10TB
Logitech Media Server and Serviio LMS running on DS112+ was slow esp when accessing a folder with too many albums. My aim is to speed it up in the process of adding more storage capacity. Out: WD Red 3TB Cool and quiet but with 5400 RPM, it turned out not only to be slow to run but also slow to wake up. In: HE10 7200 RPM Hard to find standard SATA but I got a great deal shipped from Poland. Model : 0F27604 (HUH721010ALE600). Noisy as hell when transferring but work beautifully for both LMS and Serviio (video streaming). Browsing is a lot less frustrating now esp Serviio video browsing on my Panasonic TV.
